Week 4 Streamers
Last week the streamers were fantastic. Mack Hollins was rostered in just 2% of leagues and finished as the WR 2 in PPR leagues. Zay Jones was rostered in 10% of leagues last week and finished as WR5. David Njoku was available in 49% of leagues last week before scoring 23 points in PPR leagues and finishing as TE2 on the week. Available in 33% of leagues, it's worth checking to see if Njoku might be available still, in your league. Let's see if we can identify some streaming candidates for week 4!
QB - Matt Ryan (Available in 67% of Yahoo leagues) - Matty ice hasn't had a great start to the season, and he looks like last year's down year might not have been an outlier after all. For fantasy, he has scored over 20 points in both games with Michael Pittman Jr., who will be active Sunday. The Colts face the Titans this week. Tennessee has given up the 4th most points to quarterbacks so far in 2022.
RB - Kenneth Walker III (Available in 50% of Yahoo leagues) Ken Walker is entering his third week back from an injury that sidelined him for the better part of training camp. This is a matchup that can help him gain some confidence at the NFL level. The Detroit Lions are giving up the most fantasy points to running backs in the league so far. Every week so far 2 running backs have put up double-digit points against the Lions. I expect Seattle to establish the run early and often; both backs are worth a play in week 4.
WR - Isaiah McKenzie (Available in 65% of Yahoo Leagues) One of my breakout picks this offseason, McKenzie seemed to have taken over as the full-time slot receiver in the Bills' offense in week 3. Josh Allen is throwing an average of 44 times per game, and the Bills play Baltimore this week. The Raven's defense is giving up the most fantasy points to the wide receiver position of any team in the league thus far. McKenzie is a solid WR2/3 play this week in PPR.
TE - Robert Tonyan (Available in 70% of Yahoo leagues) Robert Tonyan is still working his way back from an ACL injury that ended his season last year. He has seen an increase in target share and snaps percentage each week so far this year. The Packers face a Patriots team that has given up the 4th most points to the tight end position so far this year. Rodgers needs pass catchers, and Tonyan is as trusted as they come in the red zone.
DEF - Minnesota Vikings (Available in 80% of Yahoo leagues) The Vikings might have posted 7 sacks, 3 interceptions, and a fumble recovery through three weeks. They face a Saints team that is giving up the most fantasy points to defenses in the league so far, by a wide margin (27%). New Orleans might even be without Jameis this week.
