Week 3 Streamers

Week 3 Streamers

We are back with another week of streamers for fantasy football.  Week 2 is in the books, and what a week it was.  After massive performances on Sunday by Tyreek and Waddle, Diggs finished as WR1 on the week.  He played three quarters.  Chase, Jefferson, and Adams all had slow weeks, and we still had three receivers go for over 40 PPR points.

If you aren't fortunate enough to have these players filling your starting lineup, and you're looking for someone to pick up and plug into your starting lineup; or looking for a confidence boost on a player with a lower ranking according to the consensus, read below for our picks for players you could play this week.

To Qualify as a streamer, a player must be available in greater than 50% of Yahoo leagues.  Our target is 60%+ availability

Quarterback
Jared Goff - Available in 66% of Yahoo Leagues

Goff is off to a very strong start in Detroit this season.  The offense has weapons all over the field, and Goff is taking advantage.  He has thrown multiple touchdowns in each of Detroit's first two contests and has a 6:1 TD: INT ratio to start the year.  On top of this, Minnesota has already given up 619 passing yards this year and 1,036 yards of offense.   Look for this one to be another high-scoring contest for Detroit and Goff to continue his hot start.

Running Back
Khalil Herbert- Available in 65% of Yahoo Leagues

Herbert is still the #2 back in Chicago, but the team does not have a passing attack.  Justin Fields threw the ball 11 times last week.  Houston has already given up 326 rushing yards this season.  Third most in the league.  Montgomery and Herbert should be in for a decent workload in this one.  Herbert has averaged 6.5 yards per carry so far this year, and he should be in for some easy yardage this week.

Wide Receiver
Treylon Burks- Available in 57% of Yahoo Leagues

Burks currently leads the Titans in both targets and receiving yards for the season.  He is doing this despite only playing 37% and 45% of snaps in weeks 1 and 2, respectively.  As his rookie year progresses, his playing time should increase.  The Raiders have given up 280 passing yards in their first two contests this year, and they are giving up an average of 30 fantasy points per game to the wide receiver position.  Burks should be the primary option once again through the air.  I anticipate him scoring his first NFL touchdown in this one.

Tight End
Evan Engram- Available in 67% of Yahoo Leagues

Evan Engram is currently third on the Jacksonville Jaguars in targets.  The Chargers are giving up  5.5 receptions and 71 yards per game to the position to start 2022.  Jacksonville should be playing from behind for the first time this season, in this contest.  This should cause an uptick in passing attempts for Lawrence, leaving the door open for a big day in fantasy for Engram, at a disgusting tight end position.
